Julianne Hollist, AGNP-C

Julianne Hollist, AGNP-C is an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Julianne grew up on a family farm in southeastern Idaho. She began her medical career working in a local long-term care facility where she developed an abiding love for her elders. She attended the College of Western Idaho to become an RN, then earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Boise State University.

Julianne is interested in chronic disease management; she is fascinated by our ability to compensate for and even overcome the effects of illness and age.  Julianne truly enjoys working with patients with chronic kidney disease and those with end-stage renal disease who are on dialysis. Her greatest satisfaction comes from forming meaningful relationships with the people in her care and partnering with them to be as well as they can be.  Her goal is always to treat patients with respect and dignity, and help them maximize their quality of life.

Julianne enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to read and is always happy to find something new to study. She likes to garden and work on projects around her 85 year-old farmhouse, is a hobby beekeeper who loves the hive enough to risk the sting, and is interested in all things related to farming and ranching.
